SAVE THE DATE: November 12th. We will be having a General Meeting. The time and location will be advised as soon as we have worked out the details. This is a very important meeting as we will be nominating officers and working out the meeeting dates and events for 2012. Please save the date as we need your participation at this meeting.
Hello Pobladores Members,
We received this message from Dawn McDevitt yesterday afternoon. As you can see, it appears they want to rebury our descendants which were dug up from Campo Santo which is what we have been fighting for all of this time. However, if you read the message closely you will see that they want to promptly rebury the remains, in spite of the fact that one of the things we have been asking for is to have the remains properly and with dignity reburied in the same place where they were ...

Fellow Pobladores. On July 25th, we were sent an email telling us that we would finally be allowed to view the remains of our ancestors which were dug up at Campo Santo, the viewing was scheduled for July 29th at 5:30pm. We were told we would have a 15 minute time limit within which we would be allowed to “view” some boxes where they are keeping the remains, but that we would be required to sign a release form. Well we knew that a release form would be standard procedure in the event of anyone becoming injured. We were told we would have to climb a steep ladder to get to the room where the remains are being kept and someone might become injured. So on July 28th we were sent a copy of their RELEASE form. When we saw the verbiage we refused and did not attend the so called viewing ...
