Where – The Meadows Mobile Park Club House - 14851 Jeffrey Road – Irvine, CA 92618
Time – 12:00 noon until 4:00 PM
Cost – $20.00 per person in advance,   $25.00 at the door

We will be entertained by YESTERYEARS DANCERS.  Come join the fun as we learn the dances our ancestors once danced.  They will do a few dances then, invite all to join them

87th year of Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara

¡VIVA LA FIESTA! It was a beautiful morning for Los Pobladores as they participated in the 87th year of Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara. It was also the 225th anniversary of the Santa Barbara Mission. The Los Pobladores enjoyed coming together in as a family with many decendants, we take pride in our Ancestors who came before us and were honored to be asked to participate in this beautiful exciting parade.

Come join our Annual March from Mission San Gabriel to Olvera Street.  On September 4, 1781 the 11 families and 4 Soldiers and their families set out from Mission San Gabriel and walked the 9 miles to what today is known as Olvera Street.  At 6:00 am the Priest blessed them and sent them out to found what has become known today as the City of Los Angeles.  Since September of 1981 the descendants of those who founded the City have held their Annual Commorative March.  We begin at 6:00 am at Mission San Gabriel then walk to Union Station, where at 9:30 am we will gather together and … Read entire article »

In what was first reported by construction workers as a simple discovery of human bone fragments and artifacts scattered in a lot that once was part of a larger Historic Cemetary that existed in The Los Angeles El Pueblo Historic District in October of 2010, the additional later discovery of full body remains and coffins changed the site to a rare historic find which waxed back to the days when The Great City of Los Angeles was a simple Pueblo and Native American Village.
